Tomorrow's Legends is a step closer to acquiring Centennial Arena, 200 Hospital Street, Sydney

As part of our ongoing work to acquire Centennial Arena, our team plans to become a full time facility operator.  Now, we want to hear from our local sports organizations!

We intend to re-purpose the arena, once used for hockey, into a modern state of the art facility for youth court sports. To maximize the number of programs that can be offered in the arena, we are seeking expressions of interest from our sports clubs that are interested in making the arena their home.

Our organization is focused on building and operating a sustainable building for many years to come, offering tenancy and event hosting for sports organizations throughout Cape Breton. Having a permanent home allows our clubs to grow and expand by offering affordable and consistent programming.

Our Proposed Pricing Model:
Tenancy agreements must fit our organization's model for sustainability. In order to offer consistent and quality programming for all tenants, a long term sustainability plan has been established by the Tomorrow's Legends organization. Agreements will normally take the form of an hourly rental currently being set at $35.00 per hour.

Organizations that occupy based on teams could consider a price per head to be applied to its own player registration fee. This encourages organizations to take full rosters making it more affordable for all and more inclusive. For example, a 12 team roster occupying space for the $35.00 per hour rate would add just $2.92 per head per session. That $2.92 fee would decrease as more players are added to a roster. This approach can assist an organization is establishing it overall registration fee to be applied to each player.

The following form is intended to gather information about our youth sporting organizations throughout our communities to gain a better understanding of the specific needs of these entities. Complete the EOI and submit to our team for review.  We love to hear from creative groups and individuals looking to make a difference in their community.

This is not a legal agreement. By completing this form, neither party is entering into a legally binding agreement. Upon a successful acquisition, time will be required to carry out the necessary renovations to the facility. This stage allows for our organization to configure the facility to best suite its potential occupants.
