The Greater Sydney Area is commonly referred to as Cape Breton Regional Municipality. As Nova Scotia's second largest municipality, the area is comprised of the City of Sydney and its many surrounding communities. Tomorrow's Legends is currently undergoing a site selection process for its multi-sport and cultural complex, to be situated in a location that is easily accessible to as many nearby communities as possible. Such a location will also consider the ability for tenants of the facility to attract visitors and to host major events. Restaurants, pubs, and hotel accommodations need to be nearby to support visiting teams and families as event hosting is part of the facility's overall sustainability plan.
